Data Deletion Instructions

01If you have a Binaav account

Email privacy@binaav.in from the address registered on your account, with the subject line Delete my account. We will confirm the request, then delete your account, your projects and the personal data attached to them.

If you cannot email from the registered address, write from any address and include enough detail for us to identify the account. We will verify ownership before deleting anything, because an unverified deletion request is itself a way to attack an account.

02If you received a message from a business using Binaav

Binaav delivers messages on behalf of the businesses that use it. If a business messaged you through Binaav and you want the data about you removed, email privacy@binaav.in with the phone number or email address that was contacted, and the name of the business if you know it.

We will delete the contact record and message history we hold for you. Where the business is the controller of that data, we will also notify them of your request.

03Stopping WhatsApp messages immediately

We keep the opted-out number on a suppression list so that it is not messaged again. That record exists solely to honour your opt-out; if you also want it erased, say so in your email and we will remove it, though we will then be unable to prevent a future message reaching you.

04What gets deleted

Your account and profile, the sites and content you created, contact records, message and delivery logs containing your details, and any uploaded files. Backups are rotated out on their normal schedule, described below.

05What we may have to keep

We retain records we are legally required to keep — principally invoices and payment records, which tax law requires us to hold for a fixed period. These are kept for that purpose only and are not used to contact you. We also keep aggregate, non-identifying counts such as total messages delivered, which contain nothing personal.

06How long it takes

We acknowledge requests within two business days and complete deletion within 30 days. Encrypted backups are purged within a further 60 days as they age out of rotation. We will write to you when the deletion is complete.
